The return of the Archive to Rome in 2020

In November 2020, Luciani's papers - 64 folders that include he manuscript, the notebooks, the diaries, the correspondence, and the printed material covering the period from 1929 to 28th September 1978 - were transferred from Venice to Rome and in December of the the same year they were placed in the headquarters of the John Paul I Vatican Foundation in via della Conciliazione.

The documents constitute a Heritage of the Foundation and it is of  fundamental importance for the project Opera omnia.
